In 7 days, a new adventure: Charlotte/Daytona, suggestions (and beers) accepted! Well, on this exact time the next week I’ll be leaving Chile for a three-week trip around the world of NASCAR. Yeah, very cool. Never been to the United States before. My first destination will be Charlotte, where I will be visiting some teams shops, NASCAR Hall and other area museums and hopefully a couple of sports matchs in Time Cable Arena. I will be staying in Concord, near Charlotte Motor Speedway, cool even if there are not races there at this point of the year. On Friday February 17, I leave Charlotte and travel to Daytona, obviously to be there for Speedweeks 2012, starting with the Budweiser Shootout and finishing with the Daytona 500 on February 26. I might visit Orlando a couple days before I leave the States on February 28. Fun, huh?  Well, as I have never been in the States this will be very interesting, even more than just considering the racing stuff. A trip like this might be trivial for NASCAR media and crews, but I have never done it so it will be cool. I will be tweeting it out, hopefully uploading some pictures and stuff here, on Racing5 (Spanish though) and on my Facebook profile.  That’s all. Suggestions, tips and invitations to have a couple beers are appreciated and welcome! I have a very well planned schedule but if you think there are things that I must do, that I shouldn’t do, or you have some advice on where or what to eat, please share it!
